Welcome to the web home of Kentruth Whippets. We are a small home-based show-breeder located in beautiful, historic, coastal Georgia. We have been owned and loved by whippets for 20+ years. Our philosophy is that a whippet should be equally at home in the show ring, on the coursing field, and perhaps most importantly on the couch.

We believe health testing is a step toward maintaining the health of our gene pool. Before breeding a litter,our dogs are checked for Juvenile Cataract, PRA, BAER tested, had a full Cardiac Echo Screening, and tested for thyroid problems using the Michigan State University Thyroid Screening. Our puppies undergo Volhard Temperament Testing to help us in match a puppy with the right home, in addition they are BAER tested and seen by our veterinarian before they leave for their new home.
